Job Responsibilities

• Safely and securely handle cash and credit transactions by operating a register/POS terminal accurately.
• Welcome customers warmly and offer support while predicting their requirements
• Conduct a cash register reconciliation, sort and balance the cash drawer, complete the transaction sheet, and make deposits at the bank
• Maintains adherence to Aramark's policies and procedures for cash-handling practices
• Be well-versed in the products available for sale to assist customers effectively and conduct transactions accurately
• Undertake the specified steps for both opening and closing duties in line with the unit’s scheduled operational hours
• Ensure a clean and hygienic service environment is upheld, including post-service and end-of-shift cleaning.
• Ensure that the inventory of goods in the assigned area is stocked appropriately and replenish items as required.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Candidates with a background in customer service are prioritized
• Candidates with prior cash management experience are preferred
• Basic arithmetic aptitude and numerical counting capabilities are mandatory
• Proficient in working with minimal oversight and exhibiting independence in tasks
• Abide by the regulations by completing the required Food Handler and Alcohol Service training courses as per the location

Physical demands associated with this position may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking and standing. The role may also require the use of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
