Job Responsibilities

• Effectively operate a register/POS terminal while managing cash and credit card payments.
• Greet and aid patrons while predicting their requests
• Conduct a cash register audit, sort and harmonize the funds, document transactions on the cashier slip, and deposit money into the bank
• Abides by the cash handling policies and procedures established by Aramark
• Gain a deep understanding of the items being sold in order to aid customers and handle transactions with precision
• Execute the prescribed procedures for commencing and concluding operations based on the unit’s established hours of operation
• Ensure a tidy and hygienic workplace is maintained both while serving customers and when concluding the day's operations.
• Keep the inventory of goods adequately replenished in the assigned location and refill when necessary.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Candidates with previous customer service background are favored
• Previous familiarity with handling cash is desired
• Proficiency in fundamental math concepts and counting is a prerequisite
• Capable of operating independently and self-sufficiently with little guidance
• Fulfill the essential requirements by completing the Food Handler and Alcohol Service courses as mandated by the location

Physical requirements of this position may include activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods. Additionally, the role may involve the wearing of uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
